In an effort to expand upon its community outreach, the Ladies of Lambda Beta Alpha work with a number of partner organizations; not all are military-affiliated but they all have a direct connection to our organization's mission or identity.

Our Mascot:
The Majestic Snow Leopard

LBA Sorority sisters love the snow leopard as a symbol of what she can represent for lady veterans.  She is fast, she is lean, and she is cunning.  She's beautiful, she's bold, and often has to make it solo in hostile environments.  She's adaptable, she's flexible, and sadly - she's endangered.

Learn more about our beloved mascot below from our partners at the Snow Leopard Trust.  We make an annual contribution to support efforts to save the snow leopards.

Snow Leopard Facts*

Known throughout the world for its beautiful fur and elusive behavior, the endangered snow leopard (Panthera uncia) is found in the rugged mountains of Central Asia.

Snow leopards are perfectly adapted to the cold, barren landscape of their high-altitude home, but human threats have created an uncertain future for the cats. Despite a range of over 2 million km2, scientist estimate that there may only be between 3,920 and 6,390 snow leopards left in the wild.
